Printer Output:
Standard DB25 connector for Centronics Parallel Interface. Card linking
arrangement allowing one printer to serve all MCDI PCB receivers in PC.
Event Logging when PC is absent:
EXPRECIUM stores last 1800 events when PC is down.
Power Requirements:
From computer +12V Supply: 300 mA max.
From 6V Battery (standby): 300 mA
Station Requirements:
PC computer Pentium 2 and up. Table top size enclosure with PCI bus.
DOS, Linux, Windows 95 SE, 98, ME, 2000 or XP. 16 Mb RAM, 20MB free
hard disk space. PC addressing: PC must have Plug & Play BIOS. Printer
with Centronics parallel interface and cable with DB25 connector.
Battery Back-up:
EXPRECIUM provides charging and supervision circuitry for an external 6-
Volt battery (not supplied). 12V battery may be used but no charging will
occur. Charging Voltage 6.7 volts, Charging Current Limit 500 mA.
Monitoring Software:
All Exprecium interfaces with Monitoring software in MCDI SP mode,
Ademco™ 685 emulation mode and SurGard™ emulation mode. Expre-
cium is compatible with most Automation software on the market includ-
ing SECURITHOR, SAMM X, WINSAMM, Centralworks, ABM, Patriot, SIS
and SIMS.

logical limit to the number of customers per line and with large size
memory, fast modem circuit, improved PC bus interface and Caller
ID option, EXPRECIUM adds a new dimension to Alarm Receiving and
PC integrated Monitoring Station. As all MCDI receivers, Exprecium is
packed with several features to make your Central reliable like a direct
printer output and a battery connector to make sure you keep on
receiving even if your PC is down. Available as Exprecium 1, Exprecium
2 (Generation 2 advanced programming) and Exprecium 3 (RoHS com-
pliant for Europe and Japan).
